Job summary

Pines of Sarasota is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee maintenance and cleaning for the Pines Campus. You will supervise a team of housekeepers, laundry workers and floor technicians, reporting to the Director of Environmental Services.

The role requires coordinating goals, training EVS staff, and ensuring hygiene compliance while managing resources and budgets to support resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in environmental services, preferably healthcare.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and institutional equipment.
• Knowledge of AHCA standards and rules.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in developing short and long-range goals for maintenance and cleaning.
• Provide staff training and performance monitoring systems for EVS personnel.
• Support and administer hygiene and cleanliness policies and philosophy.
• Provide supervision and evaluation of subordinate staff to ensure performance standards.
• Ensure buildings and equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort.
• Assist in managing the department budget and resources.
• Allocate manpower to meet maintenance and cleaning needs.
• Regularly inspect campus facilities for hazards and maintenance.
