Job summary

Pelican Care Centers seeks an Environmental Services Manager to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. You will lead a team, ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable facility, and coordinate with the Administrator for direction.

The role requires strong organizational and supervisory skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in English.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental services operations and standards.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
• Prior supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Plan work schedules to ensure adequate service and coverage.
• Perform all employment actions and decisions for the Environmental Services Department.
• Inspect all work in progress and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Maintenance for repairs and maintain facility condition.
• Maintain files and records for department operations.
