Job summary

Pines of Sarasota is seeking a Weekend Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping staff and ensure room readiness for new admits and discharges, while upholding hygiene and cleanliness standards.

You will help maintain building and equipment, identify areas needing attention, and ensure safe, clean operation of all cleaning processes. This role supports resident comfort and convenience in a compassionate team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with various types of floors, cleaning materials and processes.
• Knowledge of AHCA standards and rules strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assures room readiness for room changes for new admits and discharges.
• Supports policies and procedures that meet hygiene and cleanliness objectives.
• Assures that the building and equipment are properly maintained to accommodate resident comfort and convenience.
• Identifies areas in need for extra attention or corrective action and recommends solutions to the EVS supervisor.
• Maintains and operates equipment in a clean and safe manner.
