Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead EVS, floor care, laundry, and related operations in a healthcare setting. You will ensure a clean, safe environment for patients, residents, and staff while coordinating daily activities and reporting to leadership.

The role is full-time, hourly, non-exempt, with responsibilities including staffing, inspections, and training to uphold OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.

Qualifications

• Supervises EVS technicians, floor staff and laundry personnel.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and safety standards.
• Ability to ensure compliance with OSHA, CMS and TJC standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support EVS staff on assigned shifts.
• Oversee laundry operations and infection prevention compliance.
• Inspect patient/resident rooms and public spaces for quality and safety.
• Coordinate staffing and workflow to meet operational needs.
• Report performance and issues to Manager or Director.
• Train new staff and ensure ongoing compliance with policies.
• Address operational issues in real time to maintain smooth operations.
