Job summary

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor to oversee waste management, the environment of care, cleaning and disinfection, and infection prevention across the facility. The role coordinates routine and special projects, maintains schedules, and drives performance improvement.

The successful candidate will work with department managers to meet cost, quality, and regulatory objectives while supporting the hospital's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• Two years in a Health Care environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Waste Management, cleaning and disinfection, and Infection Prevention for Environment of Care.
• Coordinate routine and project assignments and activities for ES.
• Maintain schedules, training, evaluations, and performance improvement plans.
• Meet with Department Managers regularly to align with strategic objectives.
• Achieve cost, quality, and regulatory objectives.
