Job summary

The Oklahoma Blood Institute is seeking a Custodial Services Specialist in Oklahoma City to maintain clean facilities and support patient-care environments. You will perform environmental services, restrooms cleaning, dusting, and floor care, and respond to work orders under supervision. Qualifications include hands-on housekeeping experience, excellent customer service, dependability, and strong oral and written communication.

Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Hands-on housekeeping experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be dependable, responsible, honest, fair and be able to perform under stress.
• Good communication skills; both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of assigned OBI facilities.
• Perform Environmental Services, including restrooms cleaning, cleaning common areas, dusting offices, and cleaning break rooms.
• Perform tasks associated with work order requests as assigned by the supervisor.
• Empty waste containers (including bio-hazardous waste).
• Operate housekeeping equipment (buffers, hard floor & carpet machines).
• Shampoo carpets and maintain all other floors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
