Job summary

Kingman Healthcare Environmental Services is seeking an Environmental Specialist to perform cleaning, disinfection, and sanitation tasks across patient rooms and clinical areas in compliance with infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements.

The role supports a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. It requires physical work, PPE use, and adherence to safety procedures, with opportunities to participate in meetings and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned Environmental Services duties for which trained or qualified, following policies and standards.
• Cleans, disinfects, and sanitizes assigned areas and equipment using approved products.
• Resets areas after cleaning to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Follows PPE and safety procedures when handling waste and infectious materials.
• Monitors cleanliness and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Completes required documentation accurately and timely.
• Participates in meetings, training, and process improvements.
