Crothall Healthcare in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Environmental Services Manager (1st Shift) to oversee the support services operations and supervise frontline staff. You will coordinate daily tasks, liaise with administration, and ensure high-quality service in a healthcare environment.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years in support services and supervisory experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in a support service field with high customer contact.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral format.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment.
• Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training of new associates.
• Orients, develops, and supervises all supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts regular inspections and makes facility recommendations.
• Conducts monthly reporting of goals and future plans.
• Provides staff education and continuous training.
• Communicates with staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinates outside services (e.g., Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical Waste, Document Destruction, Recycling).
