Job summary

Emory Healthcare seeks an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Team. You will collaborate with leadership to plan, organize, and direct activities, ensuring prompt responses to unplanned work requests and maintaining budget data and safety compliance.

The role requires six years of related experience with supervisory responsibilities and a strong focus on writing, reporting and policy enforcement to support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Six years related experience including one year supervisory.
• AHE or IEHA certification preferred.
• Proficiency with desktop computer and standard office applications.
• Efficient writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Team.
• Assist with department budget data, monitor expenditures and prepare financial reports.
• Develop departmental goals, policies and procedures.
• Supervise staff, provide performance feedback and hire/train employees.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA/compliance in handling hazardous materials.
