Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers an Environmental Services Manager in Training program to learn to manage accounts and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility. The 12-week paid program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you for leadership in healthcare environmental services.

The program emphasizes adhering to policies, staff development, and effective communication with administrators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills for records and reports.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
