Job summary

Preferred Care Health Centers in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Laundry and Housekeeping & Central Supply Manager to lead our environmental services team, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests.

You will oversee daily operations, hire and train staff, manage budgets, coordinate with nursing and maintenance, and maintain inventory while upholding infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 2+ years supervisory experience in housekeeping/laundry; healthcare preferred.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of laundry and housekeeping departments.
• Hire, train, and schedule departmental staff.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and maintain department budgets.
• Coordinate with nursing and maintenance to meet facility needs.
• Distribute supplies and equipment to resident rooms and designated areas.
• Maintain inventory and purchasing processes; manage vendor relations.
