Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor in Charlotte, NC, to lead the housekeeping team, ensure infection prevention standards, and manage room cleaning, staffing, and operational projects. The position requires a minimum of three years in Environmental Services, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of Environmental Services, housekeeping, or related experience required.
• Previous lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction and guidance to Environmental Services team members.
• Assign, monitor, and review work to ensure quality standards.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing adjustments to meet operational needs.
• Orient, train, and coach staff; onboard and develop personnel.
• Communicate policies, procedures, and updates to staff.
• Promote engagement, teamwork and morale.
• Lead liaison between Environmental Services and clinical staff.
