Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System is seeking a Coordinator Environmental Services in the Blacksburg area to lead the EVS department across hospital locations. You will supervise daily operations to maintain clean, safe facilities that comply with regulatory standards and corporate policies.

Responsibilities include evaluating systems, coordinating activities, and implementing improvements while ensuring an aseptic, visually clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in food services or hospitality preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital and health care operations preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital and health care financial metrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Environmental Services department operations within assigned hospital locations.
• Ensure sanitary environments and compliance with state, local, federal, and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinate and supervise all Environmental Services functions to support aseptic and aesthetically pleasing environments.
• Monitor and suggest process improvements and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory standards.
