Brooke Grove Retirement Village is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to support daily cleaning of patient areas, homes, and equipment within a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and quality cleaning standards.

The position offers competitive pay at $18/hour, with PRN/per diem hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and benefits through Brooke Grove Foundation. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare or environmental services experience preferred.
• Ability to use computers or mobile devices for daily tasks.
• Ability to read/write English at 6th–9th grade level.
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Clean daily assigned areas, patient rooms, and common areas.
• Disinfect and sanitize in line with healthcare protocols; handle chemicals and equipment safely.
• Follow safety, infection control, and PPE guidelines at all times.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives to raise patient experience and cleanliness metrics.
• Maintain and restock cleaning carts and supplies in an orderly fashion.
• Remove waste to proper disposal areas, identify proper waste streams.
• Adhere to infection prevention practices and privacy requirements (HIPAA).
