Job summary

CHSGa seeks a diligent environmental services associate to maintain clean and safe patient areas. You will perform routine floor care, surface cleaning, and waste removal while following infection control standards and center procedures.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, windows, and patient rooms, assisting with equipment handling, and adhering to safety guidelines. Prioritize dignity and respect for patients and staff in a non-profit healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
• Dust and damp clean surfaces in patient rooms following center procedures.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners with clean ones.
• Clean bathrooms, mirrors, and windows.
• Move furniture to clean behind/underneath and inspect equipment for safe operation.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection control standards.
• Assist in proper care and use of housekeeping equipment and supplies.
