Advocate Health is seeking a housekeeping staff member to clean patient care areas, corridors, restrooms, and offices within a Milwaukee facility. You will handle waste, linens, and supply distribution while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

The role emphasizes following instructions, working independently, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Attention to cleaning standards and infection control guidelines.

Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.

Mansioni

Clean patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and stairwells.
Clean environmental surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors, and furniture.
Dust and damp mop floors in patient areas and corridors.
Replace cubicle and window coverings.
Collect and dispose recyclables, trash, and medical waste per guidelines.
Sort, stock, and deliver linens; prepare soiled linen for transport.
Prepare dismissal and transfer units and distribute non-medical supplies.
Fill and clean supply dispensers.
Inventory linens, cleaning supplies, and papers; keep closets organized.
Report mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
