Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to clean, sanitize and disinfect all areas of our health care facility in Shakopee, MN. The role includes waste handling, linen support, and maintaining clean patient rooms and public areas on an 8-hour evening shift (0.7 FTE, 56 hours per two weeks), with every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, reporting safety hazards, and ensuring inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required competencies.
• 0 to 2 years of environmental services experience or high school diploma/GED
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of the health care facility.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers and public areas.
• Collects and transports solid and infectious waste within the health care facility.
• Keeps cleaning cart organized, clean and stocked.
