Job summary

Aperion Care Peru is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment within the facility. You will follow schedules, coordinate with nursing staff, and perform routine cleaning tasks that meet federal, state, and local standards.

This role requires English fluency, the ability to follow written and oral instructions, and a cooperative team attitude. Physical effort includes lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Must work harmoniously with other personnel and residents.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules as closely as practical.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping with nursing services when performing routine cleaning tasks.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures, bathroom surfaces, and related areas.
• Clean floors via sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, waxing, and disinfecting.
• Discard waste into proper containers and line trash receptacles.
• Follow safety precautions when using equipment and handling chemicals.
• Protect resident privacy and report any concerns to the Administrator.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
