Job summary

FutureCare is seeking a Housekeeper to keep resident areas clean and sanitized, following all Environmental Services standards. Duties include daily rounds, reporting issues, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in a skilled nursing housekeeping role, English literacy, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Experience with commercial cleaning agents/chemicals a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Polite and courteous demeanor towards residents and staff.
• Ability to multi-task and work a flexible shift.
• Must meet physical demands: standing, bending, stooping, walking, and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas as assigned daily, following sanitary procedures and instructions.
• Promptly report maintenance issues/concerns at time of observation.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures to ensure sanitary conditions.
• Maintain facility equipment, carts and work areas in a clean state.
• Perform inventory of cleaning supplies and notify manager of needs.
• Follow MSDS regulations and corporate ethics standards.
