Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to support patient care areas at multiple Phoenix locations. The role includes cleaning patient rooms, stocking supplies, and handling waste in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include rounds, responding to service requests, and maintaining equipment and common areas. Requires HS diploma or GED; 6 months experience preferred; valid AZ driver license may be required for certain sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certificate less than high school accepted.
• Experience in housekeeping or patient-care support is preferred.
• Ability to follow sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of patient care areas following procedures and standards.
• Disposes of hazardous and infectious waste according to protocols.
• Performs morning and evening patient room rounds and responds to housekeeping requests.
• Stocks linens and supplies and maintains carts and equipment.
• Ensures patient safety by reporting concerns to nursing staff.
