Job summary

You will perform daily cleaning and disinfection of patient areas, manage waste streams, and support infection prevention while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to timely room turnovers related to admissions and discharges.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common areas.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment; manage waste streams per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Follow infection prevention practices, including hand hygiene and PPE usage.
• Demonstrate safe chemical handling and equipment use in a healthcare environment.
