Job summary

Highmark Health invites undergraduates to join the Summer 2027 Enterprise Risk Strategy Undergraduate Internship, offering hands-on experience in risk management, governance, compliance, and strategic planning within a healthcare setting.

You will work with risk professionals and leaders to strengthen the enterprise risk framework, gain exposure to risk reporting, data analysis, and strategic initiatives, and build foundational ERM skills through mentored projects.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Preferred: pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Information Security.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to plan assignments and resolve day-to-day problems.
• Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services with guidance, training, and mentoring.
• Undertake and participate in projects to develop professional skills and expertise.
• Participate in planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives within area of expertise.
• Conduct research and reporting inclusive of recommendations or proposals for action.
• Undertake related studies or enrichment programs aligned with objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
