Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Healthcare Emergency Management Coordinator to serve as the local subject matter expert on Emergency Management and to lead the local Emergency Management Committee, ensuring compliance with ministry program standards and the Service Partnership Agreement.

You will develop and maintain a comprehensive local emergency management program using an all-hazards approach to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and Mission Partners, coordinating across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management or related field; or high school/GED with 2 years of related work experience.
Experience in project management and performance management.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and public speaking.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; detail oriented.
Strong leadership and organizational management; strong writing skills.
Completion of FEMA IS 100, 200, 700, and 800 within 90 days of hire.
CHEC certification within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

Serve as the local subject matter expert on Emergency Management and lead the local Emergency Management Committee.
Implement Ministry program standards and deliver on the Service Partnership Agreement (SPA).
Develop and maintain a comprehensive local emergency management program using an all-hazards approach to facilitate a safe environment for patients, visitors, and Mission Partners.
