Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Emergency Management Specialist to lead incident command activities, training, and plans across the system. The role supports safety and preparedness with on-call availability for disasters.

The position is hybrid in Arlington, TX with travel to THR locations as needed; requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in emergency management or 7 years without a degree. Full-time hours include duties outside regular schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the field.
• 3+ years in emergency management in healthcare or related setting; or 7 years with no degree.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and SME support in Emergency Management, including incident command, training and exercises.
• Coordinate annual systemwide exercises and participate in EM planning committees.
• Liaise with local, regional and state agencies to enhance system safety and preparedness.
• Demonstrate knowledge of OSHA, Homeland Security guidelines and Joint Commission standards.
