Job summary

Cushing Terrell is seeking an Electrical Designer to work across electrical design scopes for a national healthcare project portfolio. On-site in Boise or Billings, you will create construction documents from design through QC and construction administration, including lighting, power, and emergency systems.

Within your first 30 days you will navigate our systems and contribute billable work. Long-term growth leads to depth in healthcare electrical systems or team leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience or coursework in electrical building design.
• Proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD for electrical modeling.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and load calculations.
• Knowledge of lighting design fundamentals and controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a team.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical design drawings in Revit/AutoCAD for lighting, power, panels, and diagrams.
• Perform load calculations, conductor sizing, and voltage drop analysis.
• Design emergency power and generator systems for healthcare occupancies.
• Coordinate with Engineers of Record and designers through QC rounds.
• Support construction administration and handle RFIs and permitting comments.
• Conduct site surveys and document existing conditions to inform design.
