Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Olympia, WA seeks a Distribution Specialist to monitor and assure that supply and patient care equipment are maintained. You will resolve requests and inquiries, ensuring an excellent health care experience for MultiCare patients and families.

You will verify materials against purchase orders, coordinate with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies, and manage returns and stocking within the Distribution Storeroom.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in receiving/distribution in warehousing or hospital inventory control.
• Experience with MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience with computerized Materials Management system.
• Experience with electronic signature software.
• Basic PC skills with common business applications.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials and receipts against purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve PO or receipt discrepancies.
• Package and process returns to vendors or other facilities and coordinate shipping.
• Supply stores stock within its designated Distribution Storeroom location.
