Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Distribution Operations Coordinator to support supply put away, linen putaway, receiving packages, and freight movement from the dock to depots. This role will also help cover PTOs and may be cross-trained across IOH, ACB, and SLCH locations.

Schedule: M-F 7 AM-3:30 PM. The organization is a major healthcare system serving the Missouri/Illinois region with a focus on efficient supply chain operations and cost control.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in distribution or healthcare supply chain.
• No supervisor experience required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Performs service audits and oversees departmental operations; acts as charge person in supervisor's absence.
• Represents the department on distribution initiatives; coordinates with clinicians and system leaders.
• Maintains subject matter expertise on inventory management technologies and shares best practices across the system.
• Supports daily fill-rate analyses for supply availability; coordinates with purchasing, sourcing, and vendors to ensure essential supplies.
• Designs and implements new par locations, including setup, item maintenance and reporting for renovations or changes.
