Qualifications

• Experience in cooking or food service preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, menus and dietary instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary requirements.
• Follow special diet orders and resident nutrition needs.
• Ensure meals are served promptly and well presented.
• Maintain proper portion sizes and food presentation.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Monitor food temperatures and safe storage practices.
• Keep kitchen and prep areas clean and organized.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating supplies.
• Minimize waste while maintaining meal quality.
• Collaborate with dietary staff and facility team.
