Job summary

Hoefer Wysocki Architecture seeks a visionary Healthcare Design Leader for our Dallas office. You will drive the design vision for major healthcare projects, mentor designers, and elevate project outcomes through evidence-based and sustainable design strategies.

You will collaborate with medical planners, project teams, and clients to translate clinical needs into high-performing environments, while leading design reviews and pursuing new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture; licensed architect; minimum 15 years of healthcare design experience.
• Experience leading healthcare design across ambulatory, acute care hospitals, and campuses.
• Experience utilizing VR, AI, and advanced visualization tools in design development and client engagement.
• LEED/ WELL AP or sustainability credentials preferred.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and project delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic facility planning and design vision for major healthcare pursuits.
• Provide design leadership across schematic design, design development, and construction phases.
• Mentor and develop designers within the national practice.
• Drive innovative design culture and inter-disciplinary collaboration in the Dallas office.
• Represent the firm in healthcare and design communities and contribute thought leadership.
