Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) seeks a Finance/Decision Support professional to conduct financial and clinical decision support projects, utilize the Pathways Decision Support Product, and prepare reports for management.

Under limited supervision, you will handle budgeting, cost accounting, clinical resource management, system operations and financial planning, partnering with clinical and administrative staff to drive informed decisions and optimize care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• Three years of progressive financial planning, budgeting or accounting experience required.
• Healthcare-related finance background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and technical support regarding cost accounting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Prepare reports, surveys and special projects using the decision support system.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to optimize resource use.
