Job summary
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to analyze and optimize the data and application infrastructure across hospital departments. You will define specifications, implement solutions, and ensure reliable operation of health-system data facilities.
A strong candidate has a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and at least two years of server administration, HL7 experience, and familiarity with Windows DESKTOP OSS, networking, and security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2 years in server administration and HL7 in healthcare.
- Experience with Windows Desktop (OSS), enterprise networking, firewalls, and technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and prepare detailed specifications of applications systems to meet department needs.
- Perform system implementation, testing, evaluation and follow-through.
- Determine, diagnose and resolve applications resource and utilization problems; develop fault diagnosis techniques.
- Train technical, support and customer personnel in the use and development of applications programs; develop training programs and procedures.
