Qualifications

• Masters degree in a quantitative field and 3 years in ML/data science.
• Proficiency in Python and R; knowledge of ML concepts and lifecycle.
• Experience with big data tools (Hadoop/Spark) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong software engineering practices, automation, testing, and containers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data solutions using ML and informatics methods.
• Work with large clinical datasets to solve healthcare problems.
• Create data workflows for collection, storage, cleaning and processing.
• Deploy products within NYU Langone Health infrastructure.
• Present results to diverse audiences and prove ROI.
• Lead high-priority data projects including development and evaluation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and clinicians to test models.
• Contribute to predictive modeling efforts across NYULMC.
• Establish metrics, run experiments, and analyze adoption impact.
• Mentor team members and share data science best practices.
• Quantify model improvements and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Build evaluation frameworks and oversee maintenance.
