Job summary

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Product Analyst to support the analysis, maintenance, and enhancement of healthcare data products, using SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

You will work with Product Owners, Data Engineering, ML, Software Engineering, Engagement, and Account teams to deliver high‑quality data products and actionable insights from US healthcare claims data.

Strong problem-solving, data validation, and documentation skills are essential, with willingness to travel up to 5% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E.) or in Technology (B. Tech.). Degree in computer science or related fields preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare analytics, product analysis, business analysis, data analysis, or a related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience analyzing US healthcare data, with exposure to one or more datasets such as medical or pharmacy claims or equivalent sources.

Responsibilities

• Represents the Product team on all active projects.
• Participates in daily application operations / development stand-up meetings.
• Supports data delivery for clients subscribed to the product.
• Work closely with team and stakeholders to develop and deliver high-quality data products.
• Analyze large US healthcare claims datasets to identify patterns, data-quality issues, and product-improvement opportunities.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and impact analysis.
• Compare datasets and product outputs to assess impact of changes and enhancements.
• Investigate data/product issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
