Job summary

Caris is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to install backend, automated data integrations to EMRs, data warehouses, and billing systems to ingest healthcare data. You will lead ETL across multiple internal data systems to support internal analytics dashboards and ensure timely, accurate data delivery for business users.

You will assemble large clinical data sets, contribute to BI infrastructure, and establish secure data access using HL7, FHIR, and APIs, while collaborating in an agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of ETL programming experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with HL7.
• Ability to work independently solving application software problems.
• Experience establishing ETL strategies with multiple data sources, incl. EMR systems.
• Ability to assemble and query complex data from databases and perform in-depth analysis.

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business and technology by leading technical requirements gatherings and establishing integration approaches for each project.
• Assemble large data sets of clinical outcomes for ingestion into Caris' systems.
• Contribute to design and development of clinical informatics and BI infrastructure.
• Establish access to EMRs across platforms using direct DB access, FHIR, HL7, APIs or other methods.
• Gather business requirements and work with users in an agile fashion to build dashboard outputs from ETL data.
• Adhere to departmental and corporate standards and assist with related duties.
