Job summary

Kinetic Personnel Group is recruiting a Data Entry Technician (temporary) for a Public Health Plan in Orange County, CA. The position is on-site for six months with pay ranging from $23 to $30 per hour depending on experience. It includes potential conversion to permanent and benefits.

Candidates will handle PHI securely and perform credentialing data entry and inquiries. Responsibilities include outreach calls, credentialing file preparation, and responding to provider/staff inquiries about

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year data entry experience with ICD-10/9, CPT or healthcare claim codes.
• Experience in managed health care or provider data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out department responsibilities and support short- and long-term goals.
• Data entry of various documents, data sources and files.
• Conduct outreach calls for data entry purposes as needed.
• Alert supervisor of issues impacting production and quality.
• Ensure PHI is locked at end of day.
• Assist in preparation of credentialing files and review.
• Respond to inquiries from providers and staff regarding credentialing status.
