Job summary

Altais is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to develop and deliver complex healthcare data sets spanning clinical, provider, and financial data to support decision making.

You will partner with multiple departments to advance BI solutions, conduct advanced analytics, and guide reporting with a focus on data quality and scalable processes that reduce total cost of care. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and data-driven strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics or related field.
• 8+ years of experience creating reports using a BI tool (SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Preferred: 8+ years with managed care applications like GE Centricity, Epic, Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Technical expert in data mining and extraction from sources such as electronic health records, eligibility, or claims data.
• Acts as internal consultant to refine data collection and analytics for BI and decision support.
• Collects, analyzes, interprets, and presents provider, member, clinical and cost data; integrates benchmarking information.
• Owns data needs to identify cost and utilization patterns to reduce total cost of care.
• Trains team members on data, tools, and processes; coordinates validation and documentation per standards.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to provide data and automation.
