Job summary

Novacore Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst (Managed Care) to analyze healthcare claim data using Carbon models and tools, supporting pricing, risk selection and underwriting decisions.

The role is based in the Plymouth, MN office on a hybrid schedule and offers mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities to grow within a specialty insurance program at Novacore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5 years' experience with healthcare claims data in data analysis, underwriting or claims environment.
• Strong Excel and Office skills (Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Use raw client healthcare claim data and Carbon tools to generate analysis for underwriting pricing, decision making and risk management.
• Perform initial underwriting review, conduct risk assessment and develop pricing recommendations.
• Partner with Senior Underwriters to construct proposal terms and conditions for brokers.
• Follow up on proposals and adjust terms with updated data.
• Maintain underwriting files to expedite decisions.
