Job summary

MedInsight, a Milliman subsidiary, seeks a Healthcare Data Analyst to transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights that improve quality and reduce costs. You’ll profile, validate, and analyze large datasets while onboarding new clients and supporting MedInsight’s analytics platform.

The role requires SQL, Python, PySpark, and data-warehouse knowledge, plus strong communication with technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• 1+ year of SQL experience.
• Experience analyzing structured datasets.
• Experience with SQL Server / T-SQL, Python, PySpark, Azure Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare data using SQL, Databricks, Python.
• Produce forecasts, dashboards, and client deliverables.
• Document data definitions and data quality rules.
• Ensure data quality and troubleshoot data issues.
• Interpret results and present insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, consulting, engineering, and client success.
• Support onboarding of new clients.
• Travel up to 5%.
