Job summary

Oxford Global Resources seeks a healthcare business analyst to identify improvement opportunities within medical facilities to enhance performance and profitability. The role includes assessing financial activity and strategies to manage overtime, supplies, and other costs.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining production reporting, supporting the Utilization Management Department, and providing statistical analysis with SAS and SQL for ongoing needs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in EDI and HIPAA testing and privacy control across multiple transaction types (e.g., 837/835/834/820).
• Strong knowledge of managed care payer requirements and operational improvements.
• Experience as a Healthcare Business Analyst across claim processing, billing/invoicing, and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Analyze reporting needs and data retrieval methods to design responsive systems.
• Develop and maintain production reporting capabilities.
• Monitor timely and accurate distribution of standard and user-generated reports.
• Provide Utilization Management Department support by teaching and developing new applications and disseminating information.
• Utilize SAS, SQL, SOURCE and other statistics software to extract and analyze data for ongoing or special needs.
