You will work with clinical, operational, and financial data, partnering with leadership to drive performance improvements. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in healthcare analytics, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with hospital financial data.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of healthcare analytics, financial analysis, or decision support experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical, operational, financial, and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs for hospital leadership
• Support hospital cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
• Perform service line profitability, labor, supply, and utilization analyses
• Validate data integrity across EHR, ERP, HR, and financial systems
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to develop actionable insights
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and performance management reporting

Fit Recruiting is assisting a respected healthcare organization in its search for a Healthcare Data Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys turning complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial, operational, and clinical data while partnering with leadership to improve performance across the organization. Salary is in the $60K range, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze clinical, operational, financial, and quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics for hospital leadership
• Support hospital cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
• Perform service line profitability, labor, supply, and utilization analyses
• Validate data integrity across EHR, ERP, HR, and financial systems
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
• Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to develop actionable insights
• Assist with process improvement initiatives and performance management reporting

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• 2-5 years of healthcare analytics, financial analysis, or decision support experience
• Experience working with healthcare reporting systems and hospital financial data preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Microsoft Access experience preferred
• Experience with systems such as Epic, Cerner, Workday, Oracle, Lawson, CostFlex, Strata, Axiom, EPSi, or Syntellis is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to present complex data in a clear and meaningful way to operational and executive leadership
