Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of professional experience in data engineering and data analysis.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience developing and evaluating predictive models.
• Experience with healthcare data including EMR and physiological signals.
• Background in the medical device industry with clinical data exposure.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, analysis, and ML.
• Scripting in Bash for batch processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (S3, Athena, SageMaker).
• Experience using Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory analysis.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from AWS S3 and analyze datasets with Athena, SageMaker, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines transforming CSV/XML into scalable data stores like InfluxDB.
• Collaborate with biomedical, IT, and engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.
• Model and evaluate predictive algorithms using multivariate numerical and text data.
• Investigate data quality issues and root causes across data, configuration, and infrastructure.
