Job summary

Trimedx is hiring a Cyber & CE Information Technology Technician to support cybersecurity, operational readiness, and lifecycle management of medical equipment across healthcare environments. You will collaborate with Clinical Engineering, HTM, IT, and manufacturers to deploy patches, verify operations, and implement compensating controls.

The role requires regular travel to customer sites in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, with responsibility for documentation, testing

Qualifications

• Experience with deployment of patches and firmware updates for medical devices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare security standards.
• Willingness to travel to multiple states (DE/NJ/PA/MD).

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and lifecycle management of medical equipment and connected technologies.
• Document testing results and system readiness after remediation activities.
• Conduct medical device cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability management.
• Apply security updates and compensating controls when patches are unavailable.
• Assist with network segmentation, firewall rules, and endpoint protection.
• Collaborate with HTM, IT, and vendors on project goals.
• Perform on-site device assessments and remediation support at healthcare facilities.
