Job summary

TriMedx, LLC in Los Angeles seeks a Cyber & CE Information Technology Technician to support production medical equipment IT systems, CDI inventories, and cybersecurity initiatives. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and collaboration with client IT departments.

You'll implement secure configurations, monitor firmware, assist with incident response, and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting continuous improvement in service operations for healthcare clients.

Qualifications

3+ years in technology, biomedical, clinical engineering, or related field, incl. 1 year cybersecurity.
Strong knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and clinical applications.
Experience with networking, HL7, DICOM, TCP/IP, and healthcare information systems.
Familiar with HIPAA, security standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Support CDI inventory, ensure devices are inventoried and maintained per client requirements.
Assist with network configuration, integration, and trouble-shooting for medical devices.
Act as SME to reduce risk on networked devices and support service repairs.
Develop and maintain procedures ensuring data security and compliance.
Monitor firmware configurations and software revisions.
