View Behavioral Health LLC in Long Beach, California, seeks a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe clinical environment for our adult inpatient facility. The role operates on a rotating 3-day, 12-hour shift schedule, with shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM and weekend rotation requirements.

Responsibilities include floor care, furniture cleaning, waste handling, window washing, and assisting with presentation readiness.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six months of experience in healthcare, hotel, motel, or similar environment preferred.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across disciplines and departments.
Bilingual in English and Spanish or other languages commonly spoken by the patient population.

Responsibilities

Sweeps, mops, vacuums, buffs, strips, waxes, shampoos, and cleans floor surfaces.
Cleans and dusts furniture, closets, telephones, vents and scour, polish and sanitize sinks, counters, stainless surfaces and waste receptacles.
Empties waste receptacles; cleans solid waste containers.
Wash windows and walls; may remove draperies, rugs, and other bulky items.
Moves and arranges furniture as needed for cleaning or presentation purposes.
Reports defective furniture and equipment needed for repairs to the Supervisor.
Maintains essential equipment and utility closets in a clean and orderly manner.
Perform tasks using appropriate infection control techniques.
