Job summary

Forefront is dedicated to delivering quality culinary services in a healthcare setting. The Culinary Services Aide performs routine duties for the dining and dietary areas, supports meal preparation and service, and adheres to safety and infection control standards to protect residents.

We offer flexible scheduling and a supportive culture focused on patient wellbeing. English proficiency is required, and ServeSafe certification is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Previous institutional dietary service experience is preferred.
• ServeSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform defined work routines for the culinary department.
• Assist cook in meal preparation and serving.
• Follow federal, state, local regulations and department policies.
• Maintain cleaning schedules and sanitation practices.
• Arrange trays, load food carts, and serve meals.
• Set up dining room and assist residents.
• Receive and store food and supplies.
• Attend in-service trainings and safety procedures.
• Comply with HIPAA and facility health and safety policies.
