We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Healthcare Instructor to join our education team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and delivering Continuing Education Unit (CEU) courses for healthcare professionals. You will create engaging, evidence-based educational content that meets accreditation standards and supports lifelong learning across a variety of healthcare disciplines.

- Create CEU courses from concept to completion, including research, lesson planning, writing course materials, and developing assessments.
- Ensure course content is evidence-based, up-to-date, and aligns with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Develop content suitable for self-paced online delivery and/or instructor-led formats.
- Instructional Design:
- Apply adult learning principles to create engaging, accessible, and high-quality educational materials.
- Structure courses with clear learning objectives, outlines, case studies, knowledge checks, and final evaluations.
- Accreditation Compliance:
- Collaborate with the compliance and accreditation teams to ensure that all CEU courses meet continuing education provider requirements (e.g., nursing boards, allied health boards).
- Document course materials and submit required paperwork for course approval and renewals.
- Quality Improvement:
- Regularly review and update course content to maintain relevance, accuracy, and engagement based on student feedback and industry changes.
- Participate in internal audits and quality assurance reviews.
- Instruction (Optional Based on Business Needs):
- Deliver occasional live webinars or recorded video lectures for selected courses, if needed.
- Current licensure or certification in a healthcare field (e.g., RN, LPN, PT, OT, SLP, RT, MSW, or related discipline).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in healthcare practice.
- Experience developing educational content, lesson plans, or training modules (formal or informal).
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CEU or professional development standards and requirements (preferred but not required – training can be provided).
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) and/or other content development tools.
- Previous experience teaching or training adult learners.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Teachable, Thinkific, Moodle, or similar.
- Understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy) is a plus.
- Experience with CE Broker, ANCC, or state board CEU submissions is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
