Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System in Concord, NH is seeking a Courier to support Concord Hospital, Capital Region Health Care and affiliated clients. The Courier will help with timely pick up, delivery and transfer of products, specimens and equipment across hospital facilities and affiliates.

The role requires maintaining routes, performing daily vehicle checks, and upholding safety policies while delivering courteous service. A valid NH driver’s license is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid New Hampshire driver’s license may be required per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedule and route.
• Transports mail, reports, cash bags, films, specimens, linens, biohazard waste, supplies, equipment.
• Cross trains on all courier routes to stay proficient.
• Work towards achieving department goals.
• Meets customer needs and solicits feedback to improve service.
• Adapts to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands.
• Follows policies and procedures for safe and proper use of vehicles, moving equipment and tools.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and process work efficiently.
• Demonstrates competency performing role with available references and tools.
• Conducts daily vehicle inspections at start of day and operates hospital vehicles safely.
• Supports efforts related to quality certifications on nonconforming product.
