Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking a Hospital Controller to lead financial reporting for the Henderson market, split between two facilities. The role focuses on budgeting, revenue cycle oversight, and operational cost control within a large healthcare system.

The position offers exposure to strategic finance, pro forma analyses, and cross-functional collaboration with HIM, Medical Records, and department leaders as part of career progression toward executive financial leadership.

Qualifications

• Five years plus progressive experience in a financial capacity at a health care facility.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Computer hardware/software skills required.
• Education Required: Bachelor's degree. CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist CFOs in annual operational budget preparation for market entities.
• Prepares and conducts departmental Monthly Operating Reviews.
• Conducts monthly financial statement and operational reviews to ensure accuracy and standardization.
• Revenue Cycle – Net Revenue to include Statistics, CDM Development, Revenue Daily Reconciliations, Contracts/Discounts, DNFB/Unbilled and Cash Collection.
• Business Development participation includes the preparation of pro formas and lookbacks to assess investment performance.
• Manages various special projects as assigned by Market CFO and changes in reporting requirements.
