Job summary

Hireez is seeking a Contract Specialist to maintain all documents related to contracted staff and ensure ongoing compliance by researching statutes, decisions, and healthcare regulations. You will manage documents in contract retention software and work closely with the current contract specialist.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong MS Word/Excel skills, and the ability to read and write English.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Extensive knowledge of standard contract concepts, practices, and procedures.
Three years related experience as a legal assistant preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to read, write and understand English.
Must provide own transportation to various locations as required.

Responsibilities

Interact with the public and other employees in a positive manner.
Manage all aspects of contract maintenance and contract administration for nursing homes, hospitals, physicians, providers and other vendors.
Prepare legal documents such as contracts, briefs or appeals for approval.
Prepare affidavits of documents and maintain document file.
Investigate facts, laws and regulations impacting healthcare to determine causes of action.
Primary point of contact for contracted staff.
Synthesize complex or diverse information; collect and research data.
Prepare and process documentation to credential providers with health care facilities.
Maintain all contracts in contract management software.
