Job summary

Vizient, Inc in Irving, TX is seeking a sourcing and contracts professional to analyze pharmaceutical, contracting, financial, and operational trends and provide insights to stakeholders. You will coordinate contract requirements and support bids to help manage portfolio performance.

You will work with the sourcing team, attend meetings, prepare agendas, and assist with budgets and revenue plans under supervision.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Experience in health care preferred.
• Knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support the sourcing team in preparation and delivery of supplier meeting agendas, business reviews, value proposals, and category insights.
• Capture and record information shared during voice of customer engagements to learn stakeholders' requirements and strategic direction.
• Support contract lifecycle management initiatives under the direction of sourcing staff.
• Attend supplier meetings, business reviews, and negotiations; review agendas and scorecards as needed.
• Assist with developing capabilities for bid and negotiation strategies through financial analysis and market trends.
• Develop business review presentations using existing templates.
• Support pharmacy bid and negotiation strategy through financial analysis and data resources.
• Communicate key contract changes and enhancements to stakeholders; analyze data and create charts to identify opportunities.
• Manage low complexity bids and contract negotiations under supervision.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts, and revenue plans to measure contract performance against category objectives.
• Serve as contact for legal and compliance teams to ensure contracting process compliance.
